The Laurel Highlands VRA is a local chapter of the Vulcan Riders Association. Officially formed in February, 2010, the group is open to members of the Laurel Highlands Region including Cambria, Somerset, Blair, Bedford, Westmoreland and Clearfield Counties. Our membership is a wide variety of people from all walks of life. From doctors to public servants to bus drivers, we are all equal in our love of the sport. Men, women, and families are always welcome on rides and at events. Our Vulcans range from the sensible 900 all the way up to the big V2000. While we are a group of Vulcan enthusiasts, we openly welcome riders of all makes of bikes. If it's got 2 wheels, or even 3, come ride with us! What do we do? What else - we ride!! The Club tries to meet every other Sunday during the riding season to head out on planned routes throughout the area. We're open to any ride you'd like to make. If it's fun, we're all over it! |
| The LHVRA operates as a non-profit organization and is classified as a Riding Club (RC), NOT a Motorcycle Club (MC). We are enthusiasts and are not associated with any MC, nor do we condone that lifestyle. We do not fly 'colors', nor do we 'earn them'. Chapter 1-17 is affiliated with the Vulcan Riders Association, a group of international enthusiasts from around the globe. In the US, the VRA is recognized by the AMA as a Chartered Social Club. | ![]() VRA USA logo |
